Evidence: The Last Ritual

Evidence: The Last Ritual

First, let me begin by saying that I purchased this game on packaging alone. I never read a review about it. In fact, I never heard anything about it. A single box was sitting on the shelf that had EVIDENCE marked on it. It immediately caught my eye and I started reading the info on the back. It sounded like fun, so I purchased it… Oh boy, what a regret that was.

From the back of the box:
The infamous serial killer “The Phoenix” is on the loose. Inside this bag are the malicious and mysterious CDs that he sent unmarked to our office. We are confident that playing his so-called “game” will provide us with the necessary clues that will ultimately lead to his capture and arrest - we need your help!

It started off with a few puzzles, then a few more, followed by a few more puzzles. The puzzles start getting more difficult as the game progresses and you have to search the internet for clues. You can also give them your email address and receive clues as well.

I like puzzles and I like horror movies, this should be a perfect fit… right? WRONG! There are parts that are creepy, but by the time you reach them you are already exhausted by game itself that you just want to turn it off. This game just pisses me off! It’s so bad, that I am not even going to post a link to it for advertising. Instead I am going to post Doom III. It’s creepy and action-packed… so you will not fall asleep like you would with Evidence.

If anyone would like to send me a few bucks for shipping, I would be glad to send them this game. Sorry, first come, first serve. Post a comment with your email address and I will contact you with the details.
